Thursday June 5th, 2014

Today was a  a great day, heck they are all great when on the road in this beautiful country.  Today, first off the morning temp was 48 degrees and it warmed up nicely to 85 degrees while we were viewing the Grand Canyon, South Rim.  This place is fantastic and if you have not been here, make arraignments to come.  I am super proud of Larry Knapp, who despite heart condition and diabetes, still walked 3.7 miles today, outstanding.  We met one of the local residents today to.

We covered a lot of ground and most all on foot, with only a short bus ride in between.

So much to see, hard to decide what to post, so I will do a few and let it go at that.

We were pretty tired after a full day and on the way out, met another resident of the park.
Most People do not think of cactus as pretty but they produce some nice flowers, which I found on side of trail.

Well that is all tonight, we must rest so I can sing like an Eagle tomorrow, see if you can guess what I mean.

  2. Okay, I hope we did not travel far on the windshield of that bus b/c I know we would have had bugs in our teeth for sure-then you put us by a fire hydrant so the male dogs can pee on us-then we are by the kayaks and you know we would be of no help what so ever using a paddle, then you get us in trouble by putting us near the flowers and no doubt we were accused of picking them and then I am sure it took all three of us to milk the cow, and not one picture with any of the King's stuff! Save travels, you prob will be in SC by tonight. Love You All
