June 2nd, 2014...Another good day of driving from Benson Az, to Lake Havasu City, AZ.  Most all of todays travels were thru desert and high temps.  My outside temp in motorhome ran from 103 degrees at 8:30 am. local (10:30 am  est) to 114 degrees at 4:00pm in Lake Havasu City.  This is a very nice area and we did not only see the "London Bridge", but drove across it.  The bridge was purchased in 1970 for 2.4 million and another 4.5 millon spent on shipping and reconstruction at its current sight.  Pretty cool. Will do some more sightseeing tomorrow, then Wednesday it is off to the South Rim of Grand canyon. Welcome to the London Bridge.
These western areas know how to put on a light show at night, God's handiwork.
People don't walk their dogs here, they swim them.
Have a wonderful day all, we will wander around today and see what else we can find.  I almost forgot the obligatory photos of cacti.

  1. Amazing pictures - again thank you for sharing - did you take the flat sister's across London Bridge, it didn't look to high so flat Karen should have been okay. I did not happen to see a picture of us on the bridge so that is why I was asking. Enjoy.
