Howdy! was that western enough?  Today is Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 and we spent the day touring around and taking a cruise on Lake Havasu, down to Copper Canyon.  Temp was only 99 and on the lake felt cooler.  By time we got back to shore temp was up to 103, still beats the heck out of 20 degrees anyday.  I will post a few photos and call it a day today as we travel again tomorrow and later, not sure 1 or 2 days, we will make a short stop to a location made famous by the Eagles, think about it.  Let us not forget the Flat Sisters who stow away when we travel, had to show them around too.  The motley crew in front a fountain, just because it was there, and had lions on it.

I confess, I did sneak a super stud in there, leaning against the bridge.
O
Pretty good view of the bridge from water level.
These ladies are referred to as the Channel Chicks,  As they like to party at mouth of the channel leading out to the lake.
This is Copper Canyon, so called due to several copper mines flooded by the making of the lake, water is a magnificent blue green, in native american, Havasu is their word for bluish green.  Will pick up again tomorrow as we truck northeast, from here to South Rim.  Enjoy life, too short to do otherwise.

  2. You four stay safe. That one pic of the sky when you got set up looked scary. I hope you just continue to follow the storm and that it does not swing back around. Be careful. Love You All
